Expanding your empire is one of the most important aspects of Travian Kingdoms. There are two ways to gain additional villages:
Settling – Found a new village on an empty map tile using Settlers.
Conquest – Take control of an existing village by defeating another player's defenses and reducing its loyalty.
Unlike a newly founded village, a conquered village already contains buildings and resource fields, allowing you to expand your empire more quickly.
To conquer a village, you must send an Administrator with your army:
Senator (Romans)
Chief (Teutons)
Chieftain (Gauls)
A village can only be conquered after its Residence or Palace has been destroyed. Each successful attack with a surviving Administrator reduces the target village's loyalty. Once the loyalty reaches 0, ownership of the village is transferred to you.

Before attempting a conquest, make sure you have:
An Administrator.
Enough Culture Points.
A free expansion slot.
A strong army to protect your Administrator.
Conquests can only be carried out using a normal Attack. Raids and Sieges cannot reduce loyalty.

When a conquest succeeds:
The village immediately becomes part of your account.
Buildings and resource fields remain intact.
Reinforcements from the previous owner's kingdom return home.
You can immediately begin developing your new village.
Even if your attack is successful, a conquest may not be possible.
Some common reasons include:
The village is protected by a Residence or Palace.
The village is a capital or the player's last remaining village.
You do not have enough Culture Points or a free expansion slot.
Kingdom or diplomacy rules temporarily prevent conquest.
Learn more: When conquest is not possible
If another player attempts to conquer one of your villages, your goal is to stop your village's loyalty from reaching 0.
To improve your chances:
Keep strong defensive troops in or near important villages.
Coordinate with your kingdom to reinforce threatened villages.
If your Residence or Palace is destroyed, try to rebuild it before the next conquest wave arrives. As long as either building is standing, your village's loyalty cannot be reduced.
If you expect to be offline, a sitter or dual can help respond to incoming conquest attempts.
Both methods have advantages.
Settling allows you to choose the perfect location for a new village but requires time to develop it.
Conquest lets you take over an already established village, but it requires careful planning, a strong army, and coordination to succeed.
