Champions

Champions

Note

Not available on all game worlds.
Champions are currently not a regular feature in Travian Kingdoms. At the moment they are only available on selected special game worlds. On all other worlds, you will not see Champions.
Champion balancing and values may be updated in future game worlds.

What Champions are

Champions are unique characters that you can assign to your villages to gain powerful bonus effects. Each Champion focuses on one specific area, such as faster troop training, more crop production, reduced crop consumption, improved healing, or troop evasion during attacks.

Champions allow you to strengthen key villages and adjust your strategy throughout the round. They can be upgraded by using Tablets within the gameworld to increase their bonus values.

Deploying Champions

To benefit from a Champion, you must deploy them in a village or city.

You access Champions via a Champion button in the top menu bar. This opens the Champion Gallery, where you choose which Champions to assign for that round.

Champion slots on the gameworld

Each Avatar on a special Champion world has a limited number of Champion slots.

  • You can select up to three Champions for that gameworld.

  • You start with two Champion slots unlocked.

  • A third slot can be unlocked using Gold.

Village and city slots

Each village and city has its own local Champion slots.

  • Each village can host one Champion.

  • Each city can host up to two Champions.

  • World Wonder villages cannot host a Champion.

Champions only apply their effect to the village or city where they are currently assigned. You manage deployments in the  Champion tab inside the Main Building.

A Champion cannot be active in more than one location at the same time. If you want to move a Champion to another village, you must first remove them from their current slot.

Warm up time

When you deploy a Champion to a village or city, the bonus does not activate immediately.

There is a warm up time that scales with server speed.

  • Assigning a new Champion to a slot always starts a new warm up.

  • Removing a Champion stops their effect immediately.

Champion Tablets

Tablets are consumable items that upgrade a Champion’s bonus effect during that round. They are stored in your Hero inventory and are used directly on any Champion.

There are three Tablet grades, depending on the item tier of the gameworld:

  • Grade 1 Tablet (Tier 1)

  • Grade 2 Tablet (Tier 2)

  • Grade 3 Tablet (Tier 3)

You can obtain Tablets from

  • Adventures

  • The Card Game

  • Offers in the in game Shop or VIP Shop

Unused Tablets can be sold for Silver if you do not need them any more.
