We’re robbers, and we’ve got a problem: they’ve found us. The kingdoms are catching on, and we’ve barely had time to pack up our loot. Let’s spill the spoils on what’s new with this rework.
icon signals an upgrade from the first test world version.

- Camps spawn in the wilderness, not on settlable tiles
- Rally mechanic removes looting chaos
- Clan-based camp types offer diverse missions
- Contributions are capped and rewarded proportionally
- Visual map cues signal camp phases
- Camps appear once your kingdom has 5 members and a Treasury
- No more attacks from Robber Camps
Camps only spawn in the wilderness tiles
First off, we can’t squat wherever we want anymore. Our camps now pop up only on wilderness tiles around Treasuries. We’re allowed to turn peaceful forests into smoke and embers, not to block any of your village spots. You’re welcome.
To add insult to injury, there’s a fiery warning two hours before we appear! That’s like a beacon saying, “Hey! Free loot here!” The different map overlays give a warning in advance, and you can organize before we even pitch our tents.

No more cutthroat looting with the rally system
In the “good old days,” you had to sprint to loot our camps before your neighbor snatched it all. Now there’s order, a cooldown, and a rally mechanic for you to get organized before striking. Honestly, it’s horrifying. Effective, but horrifying.
Different camps, different clans

We robbers have gone tribal. Camps now belong to our different clans, each requiring a different type of strength.
Wolf Clan – Requires attack strength. Bring your sharpest swords.
Snake Clan – Needs infantry defense. Yes, your wall of shields counts.
Bear Clan – Calls for cavalry defense. Speedy, stompy horsemen welcome.
We should probably organize into even more tribes to keep you sharp…
The loot you’ll love, and we’ll miss
Here’s the kicker: if too many of you gang up on one of our camps, it’ll lead to diminishing returns. Our treasures aren’t infinite, after all.
Rewards depend on:
- Your kingdom’s strength
- The gameworld’s age
- Your individual troop contribution
Rewards are tailored to the camp’s difficulty level. First come, first served, and you’ll get priority when ties happen. We’ve got resources, treasures, and stolen goods waiting.
New loot tables will help you decide which camp is worth attacking. Rewards are balanced to no longer favor the largest kingdoms.
With the latest improvements, your Hero’s strength bonus is displayed more accurately when organizing troops, and the bonus from Horns applies to all Robber Camp contributions.
Whatever loot you get from us counts toward the top 10 Robbers of the week statistic.
Oh, and carrying capacity no longer limits your haul. We demand a recount.
The Last Chance mode
Small kingdom? Missed your shot? Don’t worry, you now get “Last Chance Mode.” When a camp’s almost gone, there’s a final rally. Same stakes with one last gasp to loot us blind.
Improved visual cues will make it even clearer when it’s time to send us into purgatory.
No more revenge raids
Remember when we’d strike back after you pillaged us? No more. Now we just… take it.
Reports (of shame)

After every mission, you and your kingdom’s royalty get a new camp report. Who hit us? How hard? Who took the best loot? It’s like a newsletter, but with more shame for us.
After a test round, they minimized the travel distances and overall time your troops are occupied with camps when rallying. You clearly wanted this upgrade.
They also limited the amount of information so that no player gets detailed knowledge about the troop strength of other players. Call it being consistent with what you learn about your fellow looters.
Balance for the brave and the small
Robber Camps now scale to your Kingdom’s size and strength. Small Kingdoms? You get a fighting chance. Big Kingdoms? You can’t steamroll everything. And even if you could, there are limits to what you can do and take.
You’re limited to one camp per spawn phase, and each contribution is capped. It’s about smart choices now, not only raw numbers.

We robbers have seen better days. But this new system? It’s not bad if you’re the one doing the looting. It brings more fairness, more variety, and actual strategy to how you engage with us. No more fast-click madness. Just thoughtful plundering.
So rally your kingdom, follow the smoke, and find us in the woods. We’ll be waiting.
Yours unwillingly,
– The Robber Camp Resistance
