A player is considered inactive under the following conditions:
Population below 100: No login for 3 consecutive days.
Population 100 or higher: No login for 7 consecutive days.
The inactivity check runs daily at midnight (game world time).
After 21 additional days of inactivity (divided by the game SPEED setting), the avatar and all its villages are permanently deleted.
When a player becomes inactive, the following changes apply:
Their villages are shown in grey on the map.
Beginner protection is removed.
They no longer share reports with their Kingdom.
Their attacks do not trigger alerts on the map or in the Kingdom attacks list.
They lose any hostile statuses toward Kingdoms and cannot gain new ones. (Attacks from their own King have no consequences.)
Capital villages automatically switch to the Kingdom with the highest influence in that area.
Inactive villages cannot be supplied with resources, but they can still be attacked.
If a player logs in before deletion, they receive a return bonus:
5 Stolen Goods
50% of their warehouse and granary capacity. (Current resources are only increased as much as needed to reach 50% capacity.)
Inactive players are automatically demoted within their Kingdom based on the Kingdom hierarchy. Demotion occurs one step at a time as long as the inactivity continues and the requirements are met.
Governors: immediately removed from the Kingdom.
Dukes: demoted to Governors.
Vice Kings: demoted directly to Governors (skipping the Duke rank).
Kings: demoted to Vice King.
Demotion is processed daily at midnight along with the inactivity check.
If a Vice King becomes inactive at the same time the King abdicates using the special abdication rule, the Kingdom Union is disbanded.
After 21 days of owner inactivity, the sitter is removed. Normal inactivity rules then apply:
2 days later: The avatar becomes inactive.
21 days after that: The avatar is deleted.
If at least one dual logs in, the avatar remains active.
The avatar only goes inactive if neither player logs in.
