Relocation: The Menhir system

What is a menhir?

A menhir marks a tile that has been reserved for a governor's relocation. It serves as a placeholder and has the following properties:

  • Visible to all players on the map.
  • Shows that a governor might move to that location.
  • Prevents settlers from founding a village on that tile while the menhir is active.

Canceling a relocation invitation

To remove a menhir and cancel its associated invitation:

  1. Click on the menhir on the map.
  2. Select the magnifying glass icon from the circular menu.
  3. Click to cancel the invitation in the detailed view.

This removes the menhir and frees the tile again.

What happens if settlers are sent to a tile with a menhir?

If settlers are already en route and a menhir is placed afterward, they will return to their home village upon arrival.
