Dans Travian Kingdoms, vous choisissez le peuple avec lequel vous voulez jouer. This is the first important decision you make when entering a game world.

Each tribe has unique attributes, advantages, and disadvantages that will influence your strategy.

Gaulois

Key points: beginner-friendly, strong defense, fast cavalry, versatile in offense and defense

  • Merchants: very fast (24 fields/h), medium carrying capacity (750 resources)
  • Troops: fast, medium training cost and time
  • Hero bonus: +5 fields/h for mounted hero
  • Special buildings: Cranny with double capacity, Trapper adds passive defense
  • Simple strategy: fast defensive units, effective use of Druidriders, strong anti-raid setup
  • Advanced strategy: strong raiding with Theutates Thunders, quick Chieftain takeovers, great trade advantage, Trappers frustrate attackers
  • Disadvantage: expensive siege weapons

Romains

Key points: advanced players, powerful but expensive troops, flexible in offense and defense

  • Merchants: medium speed (16 fields/h), low capacity (500 resources)
  • Troops: slow, expensive, long training time
  • Hero bonus: +25% strength per skill point
  • Special buildings: Horse Drinking Trough (reduced cavalry cost), City Wall (high defense, but easy to destroy)
  • Simple strategy: extra construction slot for faster building, good defense with Legionnaires and Praetorians, strong cavalry for raiding
  • Advanced strategy: Senator offers strong loyalty reduction, Trade Office helps overcome merchant limits
  • Disadvantage: slow and costly troop development

Germains

Key points: aggressive playstyle, cheap troops, excellent for active raiders

  • Merchants: slow (12 fields/h), very high carrying capacity (1000 resources)
  • Troops: medium speed, low cost, very fast training
  • Hero bonus: 20% cranny dip when attacking with hero
  • Special buildings: Brewery (attack bonus), Earth Wall (hard to destroy, low defense bonus)
  • Simple strategy: fast and cheap Clubswingers for constant raiding, affordable Chiefs
  • Advanced strategy: effective for close-range attacks, strong cavalry counter with Spearfighters, careful use of Brewery needed (limits catapult targeting and chief strength)
  • Disadvantage: long-distance attacks require higher troop numbers, which can be expensive to feed
