In Travian Kingdoms, you need resources to expand your village and your entire empire. There are four types of resources, available for villages of all tribes:
Resources are used to construct buildings, train troops, and activate special features of certain buildings. You must also pay close attention to crops, as they are required to feed your population and army.
Your first village starts with four fields of each resource. However, not all map locations offer the same distribution. It’s often a good idea to check this before settling or conquering a new village. | |
You can access your village’s resource fields by clicking on the dedicated button in the top main menu bar. |
Resources are produced automatically in your village by the corresponding production fields. By upgrading these fields, you can increase their output.
Production-boosting buildings
In addition to upgrading your resource fields, you can construct special buildings inside your village that further increase production:
- Sawmill – increases wood production
- Brickyard – increases clay production
- Iron Foundry – increases iron production
- Grain Mill – increases crop production
- Bakery – provides an additional crop production bonus
Each of these buildings has specific construction requirements, such as certain building levels or prerequisites. You can find detailed information about these requirements in the individual building articles.
For detailed information about building costs, bonuses, and requirements, you can use the Buildings and resource fields statistics tool.
