You can raid other players as long as they are not in beginner’s protection or banned.
In order to raid another player, you will need troops and a target. A target can be chosen by using the map, the statistics tab or by entering the name or coordinates of the village/city you want to raid in the Rally Point.
Unlike normal attacks, which are carried out until one of the two armies is annihilated, raids can inflict partial damage on both armies, depending on the strength of the troops involved. The purpose of a raid is to steal resources.
Troops clash until the sum of losses on both sides is just over 100%. This allows defending troops to kill the entire attacking force if they are sufficiently powerful. The attacker can steal resources and see the defence if at least one of the attacking units survives the raid,
NOTE: Treasures can’t be stolen by a raid.
A raid is a hit-and-run attack, so war engines, such as catapults and rams, don't have the time to be used. It is also impossible to steal treasures or lower loyalty with a raid.
Trappers will capture raiders.
How to send a raid
In the Map view, click on the village you wish to raid. Select "Send troops". Next enter the number of troops you wish to send and select "Attack: Raid". Click “Continue”.
Then click “Send” and the troop(s) will be sent.
The report will give you the results of your raid.
