Every player in Travian Kingdoms has a hero – a powerful unit available from the very start. Unlike other troops, the hero doesn’t need to be researched or trained.
The hero is more than just a fighter:
Can attack and defend like any other unit.
Can go on Adventures to find loot.
Hero’s location
By default, your hero is linked to your first village.
You can move them to another village you own by sending them as reinforcement and ticking “Change hero home town.”
Once they arrive, the new village becomes their home base.
⚠️ If a hero loses more than 90% health in a single battle, they die and must be resurrected.
Tribe advantages
Each tribe gives its hero a unique, non-upgradable bonus:
Romans: +100 fighting strength per skill point (instead of +80).
Gauls: +5 speed when mounted.
Teutons: +20% plunder bonus (“cranny dip”) for all units attacking with the hero.
Attributes
Heroes start at level 0 with no points.
Each level grants 4 attribute points.
Maximum: 100 levels → 400 points total.
Attributes you can upgrade:
Fighting strength – increases the hero’s personal attack/defense (counts as cavalry if mounted, infantry if not).
Attack bonus – boosts the attack power of the entire attacking army by +0.2% per point (max +20%). Works only if the hero is with the army.
Defense bonus – boosts the defense power of all your own defending troops by +0.2% per point (max +20%). Works only if the hero is defending with your army. Allies’ troops are not affected.
Resources – increases resource production of the hero’s current village. You can set it to one resource type or spread evenly. This setting can be changed at any time.
Personalization and equipment
You can customize your hero’s gender, face, and hair.
Equipment and consumables make your hero stronger, support your villages, or provide special effects.
Equipment also changes your hero’s appearance.
