| The Tournament Square improves your troops' stamina. The more the building is improved, the faster your troops move over longer distances (the effect occurs after a distance of 20 squares). The effect only applies to troops trained in the village. Each level of the Tournament Square improves troop speed over 20 squares by 10%, for a maximum of 200%. Tournament Square and Hero Items
If your hero wears items that increase movement speed, such as boots, their effect is added to the troops’ base speed. Both bonuses, from hero items and the Tournament Square, only apply after the first 20 squares and are multiplied together. The hero must be alive and accompany the troops for the item bonus to take effect.
