| Tribe-specific: Gauls only. The Trapper protects your village with hidden traps. It can only be built in Gaul villages and is not limited to the capital. Once a Trapper reaches level 20, additional Trappers can be built in the same village. Each Trapper provides traps that capture enemy troops. At normal speed, up to 400 traps can be built per Trapper (x3: 1200 / x5: 2000). Trapped troops continue to consume crop from their home village. Requirements: Rally Point Level 1 | ![]() |
Note:
For detailed costs, bonuses, and requirements of all buildings and resource fields, you can use this statistics tool.
If you release trapped troops yourself, traps are automatically repaired at no cost and with half the usual build time. If the attacker or a Kingdom member frees them through an attack, 25% of the prisoners die. Trapped troops are not released during vacation mode.
Trapped troops can only be freed by an attack, not by raids.
Trap states:
- Free: Ready to capture troops.
- Used: Currently holding troops.
- Buildable: Must be rebuilt with resources and time.
- Auto-repair: Repaired automatically at half build time.
If the Trapper is downgraded or destroyed, free and buildable traps disappear, but trapped troops remain. Traps also become free if the defender is conquered by another Gaul or if the attacker’s troops are disbanded, starve, or get deleted.
If a Gaul village with a Trapper is conquered by a non-Gaul player, the building and all traps are removed.
