Requirements
King:
A king can invite active and neutral governors to resettle in their kingdom by placing a menhir on a free field on the map. The menhir can be placed on any free 4-4-4-6 field within the kingdom's borders, except on fields covered by mist. Once placed, the menhir reserves the field as long as the invitation is pending or has been accepted.
Governor:
Governors can accept a relocation invitation if they meet the following conditions:
- The governor has only one village.
- The governor is still under beginner's protection.
Hint: Once a governor settle his second village, the beginner's protection ends. The governor is neutral and not part of any kingdom.
The governor has not been part of the inviting kingdom or its confederacy in the last three days.
The governor's village is outside the borders of the inviting kingdom.
The governor is not about to go on vacation and is not currently in vacation mode.
The total crop consumption of all the governor's troops (including those stationed in other players' villages) is below 2,000.
Relocation invitation for the king
![]() | You can find the invitation button on the map. Before inviting a governor, ensure that there are empty fields within your kingdom’s borders. Click on an empty field to open the circular menu, then select the crown icon to initiate the invitation. |
Inviting a governor to relocate
![]() | After clicking the crown icon in the circular menu, the invitation window will appear. To invite a governor, search for the player in the second part of the window, select them, and send the invitation. A menhir will then be placed on the chosen field to reserve it for relocation. |
Why is it sometimes not possible to send an invitation to a governor?
Governors must meet specific conditions to accept a relocation invitation. If they do not meet these requirements at the time of invitation, the system will prevent the invitation from being sent.
A warning message in the invitation window will indicate the reason. Below are the possible reasons why an invitation cannot be sent:
- The governor has more than one village.
- The governor is no longer under beginner's protection.
- The governor is on vacation or about to go on vacation.
- The governor is already part of another kingdom.
- The governor is inactive.
- The governor has already received an invitation.
- One of the governor’s villages is already inside your kingdom’s borders.
![]() | Just like a kingdom invitation, a relocation invitation can be found in the embassy or the communities window. Additionally, you will receive a notification that, when clicked, opens the invitation details—including the location you are invited to relocate to. It is entirely up to you whether to accept or decline the invitation. |
The Menhir System
![]() | A menhir marks fields reserved for governors, allowing them to relocate there. It is visible to all players in the game world, meaning anyone can see who might relocate to the field. Additionally, settlers cannot establish a new village on a field containing a menhir. |
How to cancel a relocation invitation
![]() | To cancel an invitation, open the detailed view of the menhir on the map:
This will remove the menhir from the field and withdraw the invitation. |
What happens if my settlers are sent to a tile with menhir?
If a menhir is placed after your settlers have already been sent to that location, they will return to their village upon arrival.
How many relocation invitations can I send?
There are two limitations to sending relocation invitations:
- You can have only three pending invitations at a time. If you want to send more, ensure that existing invitations are accepted first.
- The number of governors you can invite depends on the size of your kingdom and the available empty fields. To invite more governors, your kingdom must expand and have sufficient free spots.
Why has my invitation been removed?
Pending relocation invitations are automatically removed if the conditions for relocation are no longer met. This can happen if:
- Your kingdom’s borders change, and the menhir is no longer inside them.
- Your kingdom is deleted.
- The invited governor settles a new village.
- The invited governor is no longer under beginner’s protection.
- The invited governor becomes inactive.
- The invited governor joins another kingdom.
- The invited governor declines the invitation.
- The invited governor is about to enter vacation mode.
What happens when a relocation invitation is accepted?
When a governor accepts a relocation invitation, their village will move to the designated location and replace the menhir that was placed on the map. The governor will also join the inviting kingdom.
The village will retain all buildings and resource fields, ensuring no progress is lost during the relocation.
What happens to my troops when a relocation invitation is accepted?
Some of your troops will need to adjust their movements when you relocate. Here’s what will happen:
- Merchants will continue their trades as usual.
- Tributes and stolen goods deliveries will not be interrupted.
- Heroes on adventures will complete their adventures as planned.
- Returning and healed troops will find their way back to the village.
- Troops stationed at home will stay in the village, including any captured troops.
Why can't I accept a relocation invitation?
You won’t be able to accept a relocation invitation if:
- You have outgoing troops
- The total crop consumption of all your troops (including those stationed in other players' villages) exceeds 2,000.
Can I relocate if I am under attack?
If you are under attack, you can reserve a relocation. This means the relocation will take place immediately after the last incoming attack lands.
During this reservation period:
- Stationed troops will remain in the village until relocation occurs.
- New troop movements (e.g., sending out attacks or reinforcements) are not allowed.
- You can cancel the reservation, but only within the first half of the countdown time.
Do captured animals relocate with me?
Yes! Captured animals behave like your own troops and will relocate with you, continuing to defend your village.
What happens after I relocate. Do I have any restrictions?
After relocation, a cooldown phase of 12/GAMESPEED hours applies. During this time:
- You cannot attack other players.
- Other players can attack you, except for members of your newly joined kingdom.
- You can still attack robber camps and hideouts.
